Adorable footage of a white tailed deer licking a woman on her face.

The video, filmed at the Jaguar Rescue Center in Costa Rica on May 13, shows Chai the young deer being incredibly affectionate.

The filmer later wrote online: "She [Chai] is a real sweetheart and loves to lick my face, hands or legs.

"Always when she sees me she needs a cuddle or wants to lick me."

"She arrived at Jaguar Rescue Center as an orphan baby and is to tamed to be released, so she will spend her all life in a sanctuary," she continued.

"Her 'husband' and their three children were released into the wild.

"The White-tailed deer is a national symbol of Costa Rica; they can live 16 years in the wild."
