Tourist seen riding motorcycle with king size mattress on the back
A tourist was seen riding a motorcycle with a king-size mattress balancing on the back.
The shirtless foreigner cruised along a road while carrying the bed strapped to the pillion passenger seat on the island of Phuket in Thailand on February 25.
Footage shows the motorbike rider without a shirt as he dangerously travelled with the mattress.
His rear lights were blinking and rode through the middle lane before switching to the left-most part.
An onlooker said: 'He would be safe in case of an accident because he would simply fall onto the mattress.
'Joking aside, he was quite a skilful driver but that was a very dangerous thing to do.'
Phuket has become one of Asia's most popular tourist destinations, but it has also attracted criminals and rowdy holidaymakers.
Furious locals have been blaming the Thai government's free visa policy for the influx of 'low-quality tourists' in the country. The scheme was implemented to boost income from Thailand's tourism industry.
