Adorable penguins lifted out of enclosure into trolley for feeding time
Adorable penguins were lifted out of their enclosure into a trolley to be fed.
Footage shows the flightless birds being placed one by one into a cart like little schoolchildren at Marine World Uminonakamichi in Fukuoka, Japan, on February 20.
The African-spurred seabirds hauled on the trolley were rolled out of the area.
They playfully pecked on each other while being escorted by the gentle staff members.
Visitor Spencer Wu said: 'They are so gentle with the animals, and it was entertaining to see how they transport them back inside.'
African penguins are highly social birds and spend a lot of time in colonies. They engage in various social behaviours, such as preening each other to strengthen social bonds.
