Wild bird hitches a ride on train in Singapore
A smart bird flew into a train and hitched a ride in Singapore.
Footage shows the Javan myna hopping on the aisle in front of the door on January 8.
The black-feathered animal slipped into the carriage at Yishun MRT station and climbed down at the next stop Canberra.
The myna's journey lasted ten minutes, wandering inside the moving train until flying away when the doors opened.
One of the passengers, Dhia, said: 'The little bird knew how to save energy and use public transportation.'
Javan mynas are highly adaptable and thrive in urban areas, often seen scavenging for food in cities. They are known for loud calls and aggressive behaviour, sometimes outcompeting native bird species.
