US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Edison Highway Vehicle Vs Pedestrian
Bakersfield, United States - February 28, 2025 02/28/2025 06:52 pm (GMT-0800) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Kern County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian collision Friday evening at the intersection of Edison Highway and Exchange Street. A black Chevrolet pickup truck struck a pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the fire department and Hall Ambulance personnel. The male driver and a passenger of the pickup truck remained at the scene and are cooperating with the California Highway Patrol, which is conducting further investigation into the incident.
