US, Los Angeles: Boyle Heights Car Destroyed After Crashing Into Box Truck
Los Angeles, United States - February 28, 2025 02/28/2025 01:58 am (GMT-0800) BOYLE HEIGHTS, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Emergency responders from the Los Angeles Fire Department and Los Angeles Police Department responded early Friday morning to a reported crash in the 2700 block of East Olympic Boulevard. Upon arrival, they found a severe collision between an SUV and a box truck, which left the SUV ripped in half. The male driver of the SUV was trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters quickly worked to extricate him before transporting him to an area hospital for medical care. The male box truck driver was evaluated at the scene but did not require further medical attention. The cause of the crash is still under investigation by LAPD officers from the Hollenbeck Division.
