A traffic collision involving a semi-truck occurred Friday morning on Interstate 15 South, south of Roy Rogers Road in Victorville. The incident, reported at approximately 10:09 a.m., involved the semi rolling off the freeway and into the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department parking lot located behind the Victorville Courthouse. The truck caught fire shortly after the collision. One occupant was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center, and officials with the California Highway Patrol reported that the individual is alive. Heavy-duty cleanup equipment was on the scene to manage the situation.
