US: Baby Recovered in Carjacking
Oakland, United States - March 02, 2025 At approximately 12:15am a suspect of unknown origin, took a black 2022 Chevy Malibu, in what was described as a carjacking. In the backseat of the car was a 13 month old baby girl, in a car seat. The carjacking occurred at Penniman and 35th Ave. At approximately 1am, the car was located with the child in it, near the intersection of 47th Ave & Melrose. Video shows mother and child reunited after a harrowing 45 minutes.
