This robot producer in Shanghai makes a range of robots, from toys to those used in industrial settings. But this year, the founder of the company says, humanoid robots have been amongst the most popular, with security guard a common use case. [Sound_bite] Li Yongchao, Founder, Robotic company: "We have received orders for more than 1,000 humanoid robots so far this year. For example, a large number of robots are needed to replace traditional security guards at car dealerships or telecom service centers. There are a large number of orders waiting to be fulfilled." [Voice_over] Industry experts say that since AI is developing at an exponential speed, the robotic industry will undergo a radical transformation in the near future. [Sound_bite] Cheng Baoping, expert in robot technology: "The technological advancement in large AI models is speeding up the development of the robotics industry. Its growth in the next five years will surpass that of the past 50 years." [Voice_over] A recent industry report shows that the market size of China's humanoid robot industry reached about 380 million U.S. dollars last year, with that number expected to reach over 10 billion by 2029.
