Los Angeles, United States - March 02, 2025 03/02/2025 10:05 pm (GMT-0800) CENTRAL-ALAMEDA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Heavy equipment and a pile of scrap cars caught fire in the Central-Alameda neighborhood late Sunday evening. Fire crews from the Los Angeles Fire Department were dispatched to the area at 10:05 p.m. to battle the blaze in the 1600 block of South Staunton Avenue, near the intersection of East Washington Boulevard and Staunton Avenue. Fire crews continued to work to extinguish the flames as more units arrived.
