"China has become an indispensable partner for many countries around the world in achieving their decarbonization ambitions, because, through the expertise and the supply chains that have developed in China, it is an essential ingredient to an affordable energy transition for many countries around the world.

I think it's been a remarkable development over the last several decades in China. It started with policy support from the central government, which really, through the (China's) dual carbon goals, set the scene for a sustainable development of clean energy in the Chinese mainland. Since then, we've seen that transition to a much more sustainable and innovative form of growth that's represented through the development of renewable energy and batteries, but also moving through into more advanced technologies like artificial intelligence and the adoption of very advanced manufacturing techniques into mobility, in particular, electric vehicles."
