Speeding Mercedes crashes into tree after overtaking manoeuvre
This is the shocking moment a speeding Mercedes swerves uncontrollably before crashing into a tree.
Footage shows the Merc attempting to avoid rear-ending vehicles ahead in Saint Petersburg, Russia, on February 24. It then violently slammed into a tree on the roadside.
The wrecked and abandoned car was seen on the highway, with snow covering the ground, although the street appeared relatively clear.
Authorities have not yet reported on the driver's condition.
Officials are looking into the circumstances that led to the accident.
