Indian man Sets Guinness World Record for having world's largest collection of over 1250 radios
Ram Singh Bouddh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Amroha, popularly known as the 'Radio Man', has secured a place in the Guinness World Records for amassing an unparalleled collection of over 1,250 radios. As per Ram Singh, he was inspired to collect radios after listening to the radio show 'Mann Ki Baat' hosted by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014.
Ram Singh Bouddh has radios from the 1920s to 2010, purchased from various country markets, including Delhi and Meerut. He has 1,400 radios, but per the Guinness World Records guidelines, all radios should be unique. The duplicates were removed from the list. With 1,257 radios,
Ram Singh Bouddh broke the previous record of M Prakash, who had a collection of 625 radios.
