Local media analysis suggests that Egypt's proposed Gaza reconstruction plan is likely to be approved at the summit, which is expected to be the most fruitful outcome from the meeting. According to earlier reports from Egyptian media, Egypt's proposed Gaza reconstruction plan calls for the formation of a committee composed of Palestinians to manage Gaza, but Hamas will not be involved in the management. Instead, international involvement in Gaza's reconstruction will be encouraged, without forcing Gaza residents to relocate to other countries. The plan is expected to be implemented in three phases over the next three to five years. In February, U.S. President Donald Trump made remarks about the Gaza Strip, calling for the temporary relocation of a significant portion of Gaza's Palestinian population to countries like Egypt and Jordan. Recently, Israel has closed the entry points for humanitarian aid to Gaza.
