Deltona, United States - February 26, 2025 Deputies responded to a vandalism call in Deltona overnight. A young woman was reported spray-painting a vehicle. They found two suspects nearby, an 18-year-old and a 16-year-old. The older girl had yellow spray paint on her sweatpants. She confessed she was upset with her ex-boyfriend. She and her friend planned to spray-paint and egg his car. They missed the mark. The vehicle belonged to a neighbor, not her ex. The 18-year-old was charged with criminal mischief and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Deputies caught her driving with two open Four Loko cans, leading to charges of possession of alcohol under 21 and driving under the influence. The 16-year-old faced her own trouble. Deputies found over 20 grams of marijuana in her bag. She was charged with possession. They also recovered an empty Crown Royal bottle, a scale, and the yellow spray paint can. A night of revenge took a wild turn for both.
