The second the Mega Bekasi Mall, West Java, was hit by flooding
Floods inundated a number of points in Bekasi City, West Java. Mega Bekasi Hypermall, which is in the center of Bekasi City, was also flooded. Tuesday (4/3/2025), the lower floor of Mega Bekasi Hypermall appeared to be flooded. The water is brown. The water was flowing so fast. It was so fast that you could see chairs and a number of boxes being carried away by the current. Merchandise appeared to still be in the midst of the flood. Some merchandise is covered by a tarpaulin, some is already open. One of them that is open is clothing tenants. An adult man is seen walking through the flood. The water reached the man's knees. Meanwhile, several people try to get on the dead escalator. They carried sacks which allegedly contained merchandise.
