Pet cat trains how to use talking buttons to ask for snacks
A pet cat has learned how to press talking buttons to ask for snacks.
The two-year-old feline named Mee Tang was given the special toy that could record a voice to help her communicate with her owner Pim in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Footage shows Mee Tang following Pim when she asked her to press the green button on February 8.
The green button said treats and Pim gave the white moggy a packet of it.
Mee Tang then laid its paw on the pink button and Pim opened the treat to feed on the cat.
Pim said: 'I taught Mee Tang how to use the talking buttons for two weeks. They help her tell me when she wants food or a belly rub.'
Talking buttons for pets let animals press buttons to speak using recorded words or phrases. They help pets, like dogs and cats, communicate needs like food, play, or going outside.
