Prela', Italy - March 04, 2025 A raging forest fire has sparked a dramatic showdown in the hills of Tavole, where fearless firefighters are throwing everything they’ve got at the flames. Since yesterday morning, the Vigili del Fuoco have been hard at work tackling the blaze in a remote, hilly spot far from homes, with crack teams on the ground and a mighty Canadair plane and S64 helicopter raining water from above. We have a video of a firefighter plane throwing water on the fire, proof of the jaw-dropping action unfolding. After a night spent patrolling and guarding the areas near the flame fronts, the battle raged on from dawn today, with the Canadair from the national fleet and ground squads still fighting to snuff out the inferno. It’s a race against nature in this wild corner of Prelà, and these brave heroes aren’t backing down!
