Down low on SR-190, it’s a soggy mess, but the mid-upper stretches are snow-covered, and traction devices are a must for anyone daring to brave it. Snow thickens around the S Curve at milepost 6.2, where slick roads spell danger. Over on SR-210, lower-mid sections slog through wet slush, while upper reaches are smothered in snow from White Pine at milepost 8.7, demanding traction devices without exception. Snow’s set to ease off around 9am today, but showers will hang on through 6pm, piling another half-inch to two inches of road snow on the upper canyons. Relief comes tonight, with dry conditions forecast through 6am tomorrow, offering a brief escape from this icy mayhem.
