Birds of play! Hawk snatches tourist's drone from the sky
This is the dramatic moment a bird of prey snatched a tourist's drone from the sky.
Aerial footage shows the device capturing a video of he beach on the island of Koh Chang in eastern Thailand when the osprey suddenly swooped.
The sea hawk grabbed the electronic device with its talons and dragged it mid-air towards the forest.
The drone's shocked owner said she could do nothing but watch as the device vanished into the middle of the woods.
She said: 'I just bought it for 30,000 baht (695.25 GBP), especially for my trip, but the hawk took it away.
'I think the hawk mistook my drone for a prey. Now I could not find it.'
The filmer said she looked through the trees but was unable to find the expensive machinery.
