Grafenwöhr, Germany - March 06, 2025 U.S. Soldiers with the 809th Multi-Role Bridge Company, 15th Engineer Battalion, 7th Engineer Brigade have been hard at work. They conducted bridge-building training at the Danube River near Muenchsmuenster, Germany, on March 3, 2025. The troops, based out of Grafenwoehr, showed off their skills in a stunning display of engineering prowess. The 809th MRBC is no ordinary unit. It’s the only permanently assigned Multi-Role Bridge Company within U.S. Army Europe and Africa. These soldiers are the go-to team for all things bridges. They provide the personnel and equipment needed to transport, assemble, disassemble, retrieve, and maintain every type of U.S. Army bridging system. Whether it’s a wet gap or a dry one, they’ve got it covered. The training session was a sight to behold. The soldiers worked tirelessly to perfect their craft. They handled both standard and nonstandard bridging systems with ease. It’s all part of their mission to keep the U.S. Army moving, no matter the terrain. The Danube River provided the perfect backdrop for this critical exercise.
