Paramedics battled to save a Thai man who used a penis ring to increase his stamina in bed - only for it to become stuck for two days.

The rescue volunteers rushed to remove the DIY sex enhancer from the patient, 47, when he was taken to a hospital in Pattaya, Thailand, with severe pain in his nether regions.

The alleged pervert had reportedly slipped his manhood through the steel accessory hoping it would boost his performance during sex. He had kept it on for two days, but finally went to the hospital when it began constricting his genitals painfully, leading to a horrible infection that landed him in the hospital on March 5.

Footage shows rescue workers hacking off the thick metal ring wrapped around the bruised phallus with a handheld circular saw.

Nurses had to hold him down and tie his tattooed legs to the hospital bed to keep him from writhing too much.

Rescue worker Jeerasak Nuchlek said the bizarre mission took 45 minutes to complete.

He said: 'The man admitted that he wore the ring two days ago because he wanted to last longer in bed.

'However, he found that he could not take it off. He said he was too embarrassed to ask for help at first, but he was forced to go to the hospital because of the pain and swelling.

'While we were cutting the ring, he kept wriggling and moving. We had to ask the nurses to hold him down. It took more than 45 minutes to hack the ring off. It was difficult because we had to be careful not to injure his penis.

'We would like to warn the public to refrain from using hardware equipment as DIY sex toys. There are other safer ways to increase pleasure during sex.'

Several other men in Thailand have previously been rushed to hospitals for wearing penis accessories.

In May 2022, a male resident 'who wanted to cure premature ejaculation' was taken to the emergency room of a Bangkok Hospital after sticking a ring on his penis for two weeks.

In October 2022, another Thai man in Nonthaburi province who 'wanted a longer and thicker manhood' inserted his willy into a metal ring for four months. He finally had it removed as his member had begun to fester and he was at risk of amputation.

While in July 2023, a randy Swiss tourist in Pattaya had firefighters saw off the metal ring he had been using 'to pleasure himself during a sexual experiment.'

In March 2024, a Thai man had to have 11 metal rings removed from his penis in Bangkok. He claimed he wanted to 'experience stronger orgasms' but realised his mistake when the hardware equipment choked his phallus painfully at full mast.
