Three-year-old goes viral after effortlessly joining women's dance group and grooving out
Recently, in Xiamen, Fujian, a 3-year-old boy named Xiao Mu has become an internet sensation for joining a group of elderly women in dancing at a public square. His fluid movements, strong sense of rhythm, and confident style have captured the hearts of many, showcasing his natural talent for dance.
According to Xiao Mu’s mother, Ms. Su, his love for square dancing began in September 2022. During a walk, he became fascinated by a group of women dancing in the square. Even though he had just turned one and was still unsteady on his feet, he couldn't resist moving to the music.
Since then, Xiao Mu’s enthusiasm for dancing has only grown. Whenever he comes across a dance group, he instinctively stops to join in. Over time, his skills have improved remarkably—from hesitant, clumsy steps to confidently mastering dance moves. He has even begun incorporating his own "choreography," developing a unique style.
The head of ROC Street Dance Studio praised Xiao Mu’s talent, highlighting his natural sense of rhythm and impressive hip movement coordination. He believes Xiao Mu has the potential to become an outstanding dancer and encourages him to continue honing his skills.
Ms. Su is both surprised and delighted by her son’s newfound fame. She sees dancing as a wonderful source of joy for him and is happy to support his passion.
Xiao Mu has now started taking street dance lessons to receive professional training. While Ms. Su fully supports his love for dance, she also emphasises the importance of education, hoping he will pursue his dreams while maintaining a well-rounded development.
