Script: Elon Musk's SpaceX suffered a setback on Thursday when its Starship lost control in space minutes after launch. The engines shut down, and shortly after, live streams from the company showed the spacecraft disintegrating in the sky. Moments later, several videos surfaced on social media showing fireball-like debris streaking through the dusky skies near South Florida and the Bahamas.
A user, @VictorOnX, shared his experience on X (formerly Twitter), saying: "What in the world? In the Bahamas and saw light above me… then this! Anyone know what this is? Lights in the sky. Shooting stars? Asteroids? Rocket explosion? Satellite reentering orbit? Any ideas!? Someone reply."
As the mystery surrounding the event grows, people are left wondering if they witnessed the aftermath of a rocket explosion or something else in the night sky.
