Mysterious "Hellfire Spring" burns within water in Xinjiang, China
On June 19, 2024, in Xinjiang, located in northwestern China, a video captured a stunning natural phenomenon in the middle of a vast desert.
Amidst the endless yellow sands, a small circular spring contained clear water—yet within it, a flame continued to burn. A man in a white shirt and blue pants attempted to extinguish the fire using the same water from the spring, but the flames persisted.
This incredible sight, known as the "Hellfire Spring," occurs due to underground gas emissions that ignite upon contact with the surface.
