US army helicopter crash lands in Honduras
A U.S. Army helicopter crash landed in Honduras injuring four people onboard.
The aircraft made the emergency landing in a forest near the Soto Cano Air Base in Comayagua City, at around 9:30 am on March 5.
Footage shows rescuers examining the fallen Black Hawk chopper with its fuselage mostly intact.
Four soldiers inside were injured and given first aid.
The local emergency service said in a statement: 'At this moment, 911 is coordinating with the Medical Emergency Response Unit, the Honduras Fire Department and the Air Force to assist with the incident of an emergency landing of a military helicopter in the village of San Nicolas, Villa de San Antonio, Comayagua.'
The cause of the crash landing was under investigation, authorities said.
