The Army Corps continues the Hurricane Helene cleanup in North Carolina.

Dramatic footage shows troops using heavy machinery to clear piles of shattered wood from a private property on March 5.

Hurricane Helene struck the U.S. in late September 2024 as a devastating Category 4 storm that made landfall in Florida's Big Bend area.

More than 230 fatalities were reported, and billions of dollars in damages occurred due to storm surges, extreme rainfall, and wind-related destruction as the storm moved rapidly inland.

On January 24, President Donald Trump made his first presidential trip of his second term to the hurricane-battered region to meet affected families.

He said: 'You are not forgotten any longer. You were treated very badly by the previous administration. And I'm here after a few days of the administration.'
