Tourist plays in snow for the first time on visit to Japan
A tourist plank dived into thick snow as it was her first time to experience winter in Japan.
Footage shows Joyce Yeo, from the Philippines, free-falling into heaps of snow powder she would see in Shirakawa on February 18.
Joyce would be half-buried in soft ice and stand up to repeat the same stunt.
She had her legs stuck with one of her dives when the heap was too soft for her weight.
Joyce said: 'I just went right through. The snow was thick but it was so soft like powder.'
The Philippines has no natural snowfall due to its tropical climate.
