Los Angeles, United States - March 05, 2025 03/05/2025 12:45 am (GMT-0800) WESTLAKE, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Rampart Division officers responded to a reported armed robbery on Wednesday, Mar. 5, at a smoke shop located in the 800 block of South Alvarado Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered that the suspects had fled the scene before they arrived. However, officers accessed and reviewed security camera footage from the incident, which provided crucial evidence. The footage showed a male and female committing the robbery at gunpoint. The male suspect was seen wearing a black sweater and white shoes while armed with a handgun. The female suspect wore a red hoodie and black and blue sweatpants. The pair stole pipes and an undetermined amount of United States currency. The weapon used in the robbery was described as an unknown caliber handgun. The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene on foot in an unknown direction.
