Los Angeles, United States - March 08, 2025 03/08/2025 02:20 am (GMT-0800) MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Wilshire Division units responded to reports of a shooting victim at a residence in the 1800 block of Cloverdale Avenue in the Mid-City area of Los Angeles around 2:13 a.m. Saturday. When officers arrived on scene, they located a male with a gunshot wound to the abdomen, according to initial information. LAPD Spokesperson Officer Im told Key News Network that the 30-year-old male victim was transported to the hospital by ambulance. His condition is currently unknown. Initial information at the scene suggested the victim may have been shot by the homeowner while either inside or attempting to break into the residence. However, Officer Im was unable to verify that information. The circumstances surrounding the shooting are unknown at this time. An LAPD patrol unit was caught on KNN video following the Los Angeles Fire Department ambulance containing the victim as it sped off to a local hospital. No additional information is available at this time.
