Youngsters riding an electric bike crashed into a family's garden gate.

The two lads veered off the road and onto the sidewalk before hitting the front of the home in Cavite, the Philippines, on February 2.

CCTV footage shows the boys slamming their four-wheeled e-bike into the property. The pillion passenger quickly hopped off and changed seats with his friend.

The youngster who was driving then climbed down before their other friend arrived to ride the pillion, and they left.

The house owner said: 'We heard a loud noise but did not bother to check. We only found out our gate was damaged when I went out.'

The resident then checked the security camera and saw the youngsters crashing into their gate.

She added: 'If you do not know how to drive, you should be responsible enough. Especially if you cause problems for other people.'

China is the world's largest producer of electric bikes, supplying millions globally. These bikes have become popular in Southeast Asia for their affordability and convenience. However, the lack of licensing requirements for riders has led to increased road accidents across the region.
