Storyline: Economic and trade relations between Iran and China have grown significantly over the past 25 years, with the cooperation deepening in such areas as high-tech and innovation-based sectors, according to Majidreza Hariri, President of the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce and Industries. In an interview with CGTN, Hariri highlighted the chamber's role as a reliable and respected institution in fostering these ties and outlined future opportunities for collaboration in high-tech and innovation sectors. Looking ahead, Hariri noted "Iran-China economic ties have traditionally centered on energy, but future cooperation can extend to high-tech and innovation. China has transformed from the 'factory of the world' into a 'factory of innovation'." This shift opens new doors for cooperation between the two countries, he said. Beyond the trade cooperation, the exchanges between Iran and China are increasingly booming in more areas, Hariri said. Shotlist: FILE: Tehran, Iran - Date Unknown: 1.
