US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Firefighters Respond To Structure Fire With Possible Arson
Bakersfield, United States - March 08, 2025 03/08/2025 04:40 pm (GMT-0800) Bakersfield – This afternoon, the Bakersfield Fire Department and the Kern County Fire Department responded to a reinforced structure fire on Tar Spring Avenue in the 2800 block. The fire started in a garage and spread into the house. The reporting party suggested that a potential family member living in the garage may have set the fire. Fortunately, the female homeowner and a male family member were able to escape the flames safely. The female homeowner was treated for possible smoke inhalation. Arson units from the Bakersfield Fire Department are investigating the incident.
