A family was shocked to see a burglar in underpants raiding their home.

The masked thief, wearing a pair of briefs, robbed three houses and reportedly looted more than three million PHP (approximately 40,449 GBP) in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, the Philippines.

CCTV footage shows the suspect carrying a vault while walking down the stairs on March 10 at 3 am. He even checked the living room to find something else he could take before exiting the house.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Christian Torres said: 'The suspect's targets are Korean nationals. He enters houses through windows and operates late at night.

'We believe that he wore only underpants and a mask as his trademark. Maybe he thought that by wearing that, he wouldn't be identified.'

The police are currently hunting for the suspect, and an investigation is underway to prevent further robberies in the area.
