Landslides continue to create travel chaos along the strategically important Anini-Roing road in Arunachal Pradesh. A fresh landslide at the 178 km point occurred today, worsening the situation just a day after another major landslide struck Chaat Rem, 91 km from Anini.


The latest landslide has completely blocked the route, leaving several travelers stranded. Authorities are working to clear the debris, but the frequent disruptions have made road travel highly unreliable.

Local residents and commuters have raised concerns about the persistent landslide threat. Meanwhile, officials have advised travelers to avoid unnecessary journeys until restoration work is complete.
