Five-time major champion Brooks Koepka cleared the air on Wednesday in Singapore after speculation was rife that the American wanted out of LIV Golf Tour.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of LIV Singapore at Sentosa Golf Club, Koepka said, "Everybody seems to have their own opinion, no one asked me. I mean I talk to Fred (Couples) quite a bit but we don't go too much into detail about what's going on."

Last week, it was reported that former PGA Tour professional Fred Couples, a friend of Koepka, was quoted on a radio show in Seattle that Koepka wanted to return to PGA Tour.

Koepka is leading winner on LIV Golf Tour with five titles so far. One of his titles in 2024 was at the Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore, where he returns as the defending champion.

Koepka said, "Golf if crazy....you got to be lucky to win". The American finished tied 33 and tied 35 in two of the three events this season so far.
