Footage shows demonstrators seen banging on a police van at the intersection of Acoyte and Rivadavia streets in the Caballito neighborhood on March 12.
Riot police were reported to have used tear gas, water cannons, and rubber bullets to disperse the rallyists. At least 20 people were injured, and 100 were arrested, authorities said.
The demonstrators were decrying President Javier Milei's sweeping austerity measures, which drastically cut government spending to curb soaring inflation. The policy resulted in increased unemployment and poverty, particularly from retirees affected by pension cuts.
