This is the hilarious moment an extreme mountain biker hit a ramp - but flew head over his handlebars.

The cyclist was performing tricks with his buddies on an outdoor bike track when he lost control mid-air and crashed headfirst onto the ground in Palawan province, the Philippines.

Footage shows the MTB rider hitting the ramp at fast speed before being launched forward and flipping over in Palawan, the Philippines on March 2.

He landed on dirt and rolled over with his two-wheeler. His friend rushed over to him to check for injuries.

Another cyclist John Cyrrel Mark Marron said: 'We were all waiting by the end of the track but he lacked momentum at the last ramp.'

The cyclist had minor injuries after the crash while his bicycle had scratches.
