This is the heartwarming moment a father became emotional when his last wish to see his daughter get married came true.

Rolando Diala, 74, is in a severe stage of lung disease and was happy that he could still witness his child Yvonne's wedding in Iloilo, the Philippines.

Footage shows Rolando crying during the family photoshoot session at a hotel before the ceremony in Iloilo on March 8.

The elderly parent was wearing oxygen tubes through his nose to support his breathing while his bride Yvonne hugged him as they had their pictures taken on the special occasion.

The bride's sister, Kristie Joy Diala, said: 'Our father is a COPD patient in the severe stage already. Despite his condition, he still wanted to see his daughter walk down the aisle.'

COPD, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, is a long-term lung disease that makes it hard to breathe.

It usually becomes worse over time and is often caused by smoking, but it can also result from long-term exposure to harmful substances like dust, chemicals, or pollution.
