This is the eerie moment a motorcycle sidecar rolls away by itself with nobody nearby.

CCTV footage captured by Siriporn Yodkaew shows the unmanned vehicle, which was parked next to a fuel tank, suddenly inching toward a girl sitting on her bike.

The child can be heard frantically screaming as she watches the vehicle moving ahead, telling her parents that the three-wheeler is getting closer to her.

When the motorcycle finally stops, people nearby can be heard laughing at what happened in Phatthalung, Thailand, on January 13.

Siriporn said: 'The owner of the motorcycle repositioned it. She was spooked out by it starting on its own. She said it might be a ghost.'

Onlookers speculated that the vehicle moved on its own because it was left in neutral and the owner did not properly engage the brake when parking it.
