Ruskin, United States - March 06, 2025 A shocking road rage incident unfolded on March 6, 2025, at around 10 a.m. when two vehicles came to a screeching halt at the red light of South US Highway 41 and West College Avenue. Leonard Cako, 47, the furious driver of a white van, leapt out wielding an aluminum baseball bat and stormed towards the victim's car. In a fit of rage, he reached inside and began to strike and grab the terrified motorist. The victim, fighting back in desperation, fired a flare gun that struck Cako. Undeterred, the enraged Cako then turned his fury on the car itself, smashing it with the bat. Sheriff’s deputies swiftly identified him as the primary aggressor in the violent clash. Cako was hauled off in cuffs, facing serious charges including Burglary of Conveyance With Assault or Battery, Aggravated Assault Victim Over 65, and Criminal Mischief Over $1000.
