Los Angeles, United States - March 13, 2025 03/13/2025 03:00 am (GMT-0700) MALIBU, Calif. – Mud and water flowed from the mountains onto Pacific Coast Highway near Big Rock Drive as a relentless rain storm soaked the area overnight. Crews attempted to block the flow with dirt to keep the highway open. However, rocks and residual mud remain in the lanes of traffic. According to the National Weather Service, there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms today, with more rain predicted for Friday. There is a High Surf Advisory until 3 p.m. March 14, a Wind Advisory until 10 p.m. today and a Flood Watch until 6 p.m.
