Cape Canaveral, United States - March 13, 2025 SpaceX successfully launched 21 Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station. The Falcon 9 rocket roared into the sky at 9:05 am (IST) on Thursday, March 13, carrying 21 satellites, including 13 with Direct to Cell capabilities. These high-tech satellites are set to boost mobile connectivity across the globe, especially in far-flung areas. The mission, dubbed Starlink 12-21, was meant to be part of a busy night with the Crew-10 launch. But Crew-10 got scrapped earlier, leaving Starlink to steal the spotlight. The trusty first stage booster, B1069, nailed its 22nd flight, having previously powered missions like CRS-24 and heaps of Starlink batches. After splitting from the rocket, it made a textbook landing on the A Shortfall of Gravitas droneship in the Atlantic Ocean. This launch pumps up the ever-growing Starlink constellation, now boasting over 7,000 satellites beaming high-speed internet worldwide. SpaceX had extra launch slots lined up on Thursday, just in case of any hiccups.
