Phoenix, United States - March 14, 2025 03/14/2025 12:45 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Police Press Statement: Phoenix Police detectives are investigating an overnight collision that hospitalized multiple people, to include a Phoenix Police Officer. On March 14, 2025, around 12:45 a.m., an officer was in the area of the Black Canyon Access Road and Buckeye Road when they were involved in a collision resulting in the Phoenix Police Tahoe rolling over. Two additional vehicles were involved in the collision with the officer. Other officers and fire personnel arrived on scene and located all of those with injuries. The officer was transported to a nearby hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries and he is currently in stable condition. Two other adult occupants of the other cars involved in the collision were also transported to a nearby hospital, both with non-life-threatening injuries. Detectives responded to take over the investigation. It is not yet known if impairment was a factor in this collision. Additional details about the collision remain part of the ongoing investigation.
