US, Phoenix: Phoenix USPS Semi Extrication Crash
Phoenix, United States - March 15, 2025 03/15/2025 02:40 am (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Troopers and Phoenix Fire were called to the southbound SR-143 near the L-202 Red Mountain interchange after receiving reports of a rollover crash. Troopers arrived and located a white United States Postal Service semi-truck cab that had crashed. Preliminary information gathered at the scene suggests that the semi was traveling on the northbound SR-143 to the westbound L-202 transition ramp when it drove off the bridge and crashed onto the road below. The driver of the semi-truck was trapped in the truck and required extrication. Troopers closed southbound SR-143 at McDowell Road. Firefighters arrived and began extricating the driver from the truck. The driver was eventually removed from the cab before being transported to a local hospital. The closure was expected to last several hours.
