Kindhearted local feeds disabled monkey with fruits in China
This is the heartwarming moment a caring local fed a disabled monkey fruit in China.
Touching footage shows the man handing out grapes to two primates in Guangxi on March 7.
Upon noticing that one of the monkeys had no hands, he called her over and gave her another snack.
The filmer said: 'I have always been feeding the monkeys here in the park. That monkey is female and was born with deformities. Sadly, her mother doesn't care for her, and she is always bullied by the group.
'She can climb trees with her feet and still forage for food on her own, but it's just sad that she has to fight others to get food.'
Monkeys are curious animals that enjoy socialising with humans, often making themselves comfortable around them.
However, authorities advise locals to keep their distance from these wild animals, as they may attack if they feel threatened. Risks from monkey bites include serious wound infections, the herpes B virus, and rabies.
