US, Las Vegas: Las Vegas Multiple People Killed in Murder Suicide in Central Las Vegas
Las Vegas, United States - March 15, 2025 03/15/2025 09:00 pm (GMT-0700) LAS VEGAS, Nev. – A man and a woman are dead following an apparent murder-suicide in central Las Vegas, according to Metro police. On Saturday evening, officers responded to a home in the 700 block of Bruce Street, near Bonanza Road and Maryland Parkway, after receiving a report of a woman who had been shot. Upon arriving at the scene, officers heard another gunshot as they approached the home. Upon entering the residence, officers discovered a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the woman was transported to a local hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased. Police reported that the couple had recently ended a long-term relationship. The woman had brought their children over for a visitation when an argument escalated. During the dispute, the man allegedly pulled a gun and shot the woman. According to authorities, the man subsequently turned the gun on himself when officers arrived. Fortunately, the children were unharmed during the incident. “This is a very tragic, tragic event. We encourage anyone who has any type of domestic violence issues to reach out to support services, the Family Justice Center. It does not have to end like this,” said LVMPD Homicide Lt. Robert Price.
