Iraq: ISIS Global Operations Chief Killed in Deadly US Airstrike in Iraq
Iraq - March 13, 2025 Al Anbar Province, Iraq – On March 13, U.S. Central Command forces teamed up with Iraqi Intelligence and Security Forces to unleash a devastating precision airstrike in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. The explosive attack wiped out the Global ISIS #2 leader, the Chief of Global Operations and Delegated Committee Emir, Abdallah Makki Muslih al-Rifai, better known as “Abu Khadijah”. One other ISIS operative was also killed in the fiery strike. As the Emir of ISIS’ top decision-making crew, Abu Khadijah called the shots for operations, logistics, and planning worldwide. The terror boss also controlled a hefty chunk of cash flow for the group’s sprawling global network. After the strike hit its mark, CENTCOM and Iraqi forces swooped in on the smoking site. They found both ISIS terrorists dead, still strapped with unexploded “suicide vests” and clutching multiple weapons. Using DNA nabbed from a past raid where Abu Khadijah slipped away, CENTCOM confirmed the kill with a match. “Abu Khadijah was one of the biggest fish in the global ISIS pond,” declared Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of U.S. Central Command. “We’ll keep hunting down terrorists and smashing their setups that endanger our homeland, plus U.S., allied, and partner personnel here and beyond.”
