To celebrate singer Morrissey's first new music since 2014, revisit this clip from the Newsflare archive of a bequiffed man impersonating the Mancunian singer.

The footage, captured in Sao Paulo in 2016, shows the man singing The Smiths' classic 'The Boy With The Thorn In His Side'.

Dressed in flamboyant clothing, and sporting Morrissey's iconic quiff, the man sings to the accompaniment of an acoustic guitar and tambourine as part of Morrissey Day celebrations.

According to the Morrissey Brasil Facebook fan page, the Morrissey Day celebrations span for a whole week, and involve street performances and screenings of some of his most famous concerts.

A description of the event posted onto the page reads "Arrive early and bring flowers."
