A wild boar broke the front glass of a shop and caused extensive damage.

This incident took place in Ammu Stores, located at Chandanapally Junction area of Pathanamthitta district in Kerala on March 17 around 11 A.M.

The visuals show a wild boar emerging from the shop after breaking the glass and scattering items from the store. It is then seen attempting to enter a nearby shop by ramming into a glass door but failing to gain entry. The boar also charges at a parked car before moving away from the scene. Later Local residents can be seen inspecting the damage while expressing concerns over the recurring menace posed by wild boars in the area.

Speaking to Newslions, Circle Inspector from Kodumon police station stated, the wild boars rammed into the front glass of the shop, breaking it and gaining entry. Although no one was present inside at the time, the animals caused significant damage to the merchandise stored within the shop.

Locals in Chandanapally have raised concerns over the growing wild boar menace, stating that similar incidents have been reported in the area recently. They urged authorities to take necessary steps to mitigate the issue.
